Red Ribbon Club
Red Ribbon Club
The Red Ribbon Club is a nationwide initiative launched by the Government of India in schools and colleges to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. In our college, the Red Ribbon Club plays a vital role in educating students and the community about HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and related health issues.
The club not only disseminates knowledge but also imparts essential life skills such as effective communication, self-protection, and responsible behavior. One of the core objectives of the Red Ribbon Club is to encourage voluntary blood donation among students, promoting a spirit of service and empathy
It serves as a dynamic forum for student participation in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS and helps cultivate leadership and a sense of social responsibility. At Professor Simmi Agnihotri Government Degree College, Haroli, all students are enrolled as members of the Red Ribbon Club, ensuring inclusive involvement and maximum outreach.
