1) Post Matric Scholarship For SC:
Under this Scheme, all SC students whose parents/guardians annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 2,50,000/-, are eligible for full scholarship (i.e. Maintenance Allowance + Compulsory Fee) for all courses, provided they are pursuing their studies in Govt./Govt. Aided/ Recognized Private Recognized Institutions, as regular students.

The printed copy of the Online Scholarship Form (after successful online submission of form), along with all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of the Institute, who will retain it in the institution. The Institution will forward the duly attested printed form (after successful online verification) along with the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to the concerned DDHE (in case of Govt. / Private Recognized Schools within state) &to this Directorate (in case of Universities / Private Recognized Colleges / Professional / Technical / Other Institutes / All Out of state institutes), for online verification & safekeeping. The Govt. Colleges (within state) need to forward only the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate.
In case, any offline application form is received by the Head of the Institute, he / she is directed to return the same to the concerned student / institute, at his / her own level; & to direct the sender to fill the form online & submit the printed copy of the Online Application Form, afterwards, through the same channel.

4) Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Students:
Under this Scheme, all students belonging to General Category (Other than Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes) whose total income from all sources in case of the employed candidate and in case of unemployed candidate, his/her parents/guardians income shall not exceed Rs 1,00,000/-, p.a. are eligible for full scholarship (i.e. Maintenance Allowance + Compulsory Fee i.e. Enrolment/Registration Fee, Tuition Fee, Games Fee, Union Fee, Library Fee, Magazine Fee, Medical Fee, Examination Fee and such other Fees) for all courses, provided they are pursuing their studies in Government Institutions. 5) Merit cum means Scholarship scheme for students belonging to minority Students:
This Scholarship is given to pursue Degree / Post- graduate level Technical Professional Courses from Recognized Institutions , to the students belonging to the Minority Groups(Muslim – 37, Sikh – 22, Christian – 2, Budhhist – 24, Total = 85 Students) . The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.50 Lacs, from all sources and students should have not less than 50% marks. Students under this Scholarship Scheme need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the following schedule , and no offline application form will be accepted.

6) Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to students belonging to Minority Students:
This Scholarship will be given from XI to Ph.D. Level in Govt. / Recognized Private Schools / Colleges / Institutes, including Technical / Vocational Courses, to the students belonging to the Minority Groups (Muslim – 309, Sikh – 187, Christian – 20, Budhhist – 196,Jain – 4,Parsi – 2, Total = 718 Students) . The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.00 Lacs, from all sources and student should not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. Student must pass the examination from Govt. / Govt. Aided institutions. Students under this Scholarship Scheme, need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the following schedule, and no offline application form will be accepted.

7) Scholarship to Disabled Students:
Under this scheme, 1,000 Scholarships are provided to eligible differently – abled students for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions. The students may apply online ( www.nhfdc.nic.in ) at any time during the year and submit hard copy of the application to “National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector – 12, Faridabad – 121007” . Reimbursements of Non – Refundable fees restricted to limit of fee of similar courses. Monthly income of the beneficiary / parent / guardian should not be more than Rs 25,000/ – ( Rs 3.00 Lac p.a.) from all sources.

b)”Scholarship Scheme (National Fund)”:
Under this scheme, 500 Scholarships are provided in a year to the students with disabilities for pursuing post matric professional and technical courses of more than one year duration. The students may apply online (www.nhfdc.nic.in ) and submit hard copy of the application along with requisite documents to the “National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector – 12, Faridabad – 121007”. Scholarship of Rs 1,000/ – p.m. for hostellers and Rs 700/ – p.m. for day scholars studying in professional courses at graduation and above level, and Rs 700/ – p.m. for hostellers and Rs 400/ – p.m. for day scholars pursuing Diploma / certificate level Professional courses. Course fee reimbursed upto ceiling of Rs 10,000/ – p.a. Monthly Income of the beneficiary / parent / guardian should not be more than Rs 15,000/ – ( Rs 1.80 Lac p.a.) from all sources.

8) Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship For DNTs
This Scholarship Schemes is applicable for those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, (DNTs) whose family income is less than Rs. 2.0 lacs per annum will be eligible for awarding the Post Matric Scholarship. The objective of the Scheme is to improve educational empowerment of the DNTs who are not covered under SC/ST/OBC category. The rates of the Scholarship are:

9) Kalpana Chawla Award for Girls:
This is a State Sponsored Scheme started from the year 2012-13. Under this Scheme the top 2000 meritorious girl students of 10+2 of all study groups i.e. Science, Arts and Commerce streams are awarded a scholarship of Rs 15000/- per student p.a., based on passing ratio in each group as per the merit list supplied by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala. The scholarship will be renewed till the completion of Degree / Diploma / Certificate course, provided there is no failure.

11) Mukhya Mantri Gyaandeep Yojna:
This is a new Mukhya Mantri Gyandeep Yojna sponsored by State Govt. for All Those Students who Bonafide of the HP State pursuing Professional/Technical course and Higher Education Course from recognized Institutions in India. Under this Scheme, Interest subsidy is admissible from any Bank on Education loan availed up to the Maximum of Rs. 10 (Ten lakh only) Interest subsidy to the extent of 4% p.a. on Education loan will be allowed.
Note:Student should apply through any bank directly.
Under this Scheme, all SC students whose parents/guardians annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 2,50,000/-, are eligible for full scholarship (i.e. Maintenance Allowance + Compulsory Fee) for all courses, provided they are pursuing their studies in Govt./Govt. Aided/ Recognized Private Recognized Institutions, as regular students.

This Scholarship is given to pursue Degree / Post- graduate level Technical Professional Courses from Recognized Institutions , to the students belonging to the Minority Groups(Muslim – 37, Sikh – 22, Christian – 2, Budhhist – 24, Total = 85 Students) . The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.50 Lacs, from all sources and students should have not less than 50% marks. Students under this Scholarship Scheme need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the following schedule , and no offline application form will be accepted.

This Scholarship will be given from XI to Ph.D. Level in Govt. / Recognized Private Schools / Colleges / Institutes, including Technical / Vocational Courses, to the students belonging to the Minority Groups (Muslim – 309, Sikh – 187, Christian – 20, Budhhist – 196,Jain – 4,Parsi – 2, Total = 718 Students) . The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.00 Lacs, from all sources and student should not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. Student must pass the examination from Govt. / Govt. Aided institutions. Students under this Scholarship Scheme, need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the following schedule, and no offline application form will be accepted.

The printed copy of the Online Scholarship Form (after successful online submission of form), along with all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of the Institute, who will further forward the same to this Directorate; where it will be retained for online verification & safekeeping.

Under this scheme, 1,000 Scholarships are provided to eligible differently – abled students for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions. The students may apply online ( www.nhfdc.nic.in ) at any time during the year and submit hard copy of the application to “National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector – 12, Faridabad – 121007” . Reimbursements of Non – Refundable fees restricted to limit of fee of similar courses. Monthly income of the beneficiary / parent / guardian should not be more than Rs 25,000/ – ( Rs 3.00 Lac p.a.) from all sources.

Under this scheme, 500 Scholarships are provided in a year to the students with disabilities for pursuing post matric professional and technical courses of more than one year duration. 9.Fee Payment Receipts.
This is a State Sponsored Scheme started from the year 2012-13. Under this Scheme the top 2000 meritorious girl students of 10+2 of all study groups i.e. Science, Arts and Commerce streams are awarded a scholarship of Rs 15000/- per student p.a., based on passing ratio in each group as per the merit list supplied by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala. The scholarship will be renewed till the completion of Degree / Diploma / Certificate course, provided there is no failure.
The printed copy of the Online Scholarship Form (after successful online submission of form), along with all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of the Institute, who will retain it in the institution. The Institution will forward the duly attested printed form (after successful online verification) along with the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate (in case of Universities / Private Recognized Colleges / Professional / Technical / Other Institutes / All Out of state institutes), for online verification & safekeeping. This is a new Mukhya Mantri Gyandeep Yojna sponsored by State Govt. for All Those Students who Bonafide of the HP State pursuing Professional/Technical course and Higher Education Course from recognized Institutions in India. Under this Scheme, Interest subsidy is admissible from any Bank on Education loan availed up to the Maximum of Rs. 10 (Ten lakh only) Interest subsidy to the extent of 4% p.a. on Education loan will be allowed.
Note:Student should apply through any bank directly.

Details of Various Scholarship Schemes
CENTRAL SPONSORED SCHEMES
1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/OBC Students
Students with an annual family income less than ₹2,50,000 (for SC/ST) and ₹1,00,000 (for OBC) are eligible. The scholarship includes a maintenance allowance of ₹300 per month for SC/ST and ₹250 for OBC students, along with other compulsory fees.
2.Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Economically Backward Classes (General Category Students)
Eligible for students from economically backward general category families with income less than ₹1,00,000. It offers a maintenance allowance of ₹210 per month along with other compulsory fees.
3. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme for Minority Community Students
This scheme is for students from minority communities whose family income is less than ₹2,00,000 and who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination. It includes a maintenance allowance of ₹500 per month (maximum ₹5,000) and a course fee of up to ₹20,000 or the actual fee, whichever is less.
4. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to Students Belonging to Minority Community
Students with a family income below ₹2,00,000 and who have secured at least 50% marks are eligible. The benefits include a maintenance allowance of ₹300 per month and admission/tuition fees subject to a maximum limit of ₹3,000 per annum.
Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs)For students from these communities with income below ₹2,00,000. They are eligible for a maintenance allowance of ₹300 per month, subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹3,000 per annum.
STATE SPONSORED SCHEMES
1. Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chhatravritti Yojna for Post Plus Two Students
No income limit is applicable. This scholarship is awarded to the top 10 male toppers of the Plus Two HPBOSE exam from Arts, Commerce & Science streams, and top 10 male and female toppers of BA/B.Sc./B.Com from HPU. It provides ₹10,000 per annum, subject to maintaining at least 55% marks in the subsequent class.
2. Kalpana Chawla Chhatravritti Yojna
Awarded to the top 2000 meritorious girls from the 10+2 examination of Science, Arts, and Commerce from HPBOSE. There is no income limit. Recipients receive ₹15,000 per annum till the completion of the course.
3. Maharishi Valmiki Chhatravritti Yojna
For bonafide Himachali girl students belonging to Balmiki families involved in unclean occupations. The scholarship provides ₹9,000 per annum till the course is completed.
4. IRDP Scholarship Scheme
Students from families categorized under the IRDP (Integrated Rural Development Programme) are eligible. They receive ₹1,200 per annum till the completion of the course.
5. Financial Assistance to the Children of the Armed Forces For children of family personnel who were killed or disabled during war/operations. Eligible students receive ₹1,200 per annum till the completion of the course.
